Daryn is the Founder and President of Newton Aviation Services Ltd. and has over 29 years experience as a licensed M1/M2 aircraft maintenance engineer with primarily corporate jet and turboprop experience. Daryn perseveres to provide Safe, Quality and Trustworthy service. Some of his strengths are aircraft acquisition/imports/exports, PRM (person responsible for maintenance) responsibilities, developing MSA’s (Maintenance Schedule Approvals) and customizing maintenance support for aircraft operators and owners.

Cory Ciochetti
Director of Maintenance | AME M1, M2
Cory has been a pillar in building the success of Newton Aviation since 2011. Cory has been a licensed AME with M1 and M2 ratings for over 25 years. He has a broad range of experience in turboprop, piston, and jet aircraft. He is a strong troubleshooter and is not afraid to dive into complex problems. His attention to detail and ability to understand many types of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a great asset. He skilfully manages multiple high pressure situations and makes the right call when it comes to safety and airworthiness decisions on a day to day basis.

David Troniak
Quality Assurance Manager | AME M1, M2
David has over 29 years experience as a licensed AME, operating in a number of different roles, including Director of Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Production Manager. He prides himself on his business aircraft experience from the old school biz jets, to the new digital aircraft, while getting things done correctly in a timely manner. His experience is highly valued and respected and he will be bringing his expertise to the much anticipated YYC base in 2020.

Mark Berube
Team Lead | AME M1, M2
Mark is a highly experienced M1/M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who is exceptionally proficient at adapting to challenging technical problems and has a natural ability to solve complicated electrical faults. His background includes a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, achieving an Engineering Technician qualification, and he brings over 34 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering in all fixed wing disciplines to the Newton Aviation team.

Curtis Berube

Curtis has recently joined our team as an M1 licensed AME and is currently working on his M2 rating. Curtis has a calm and collected business work ethic and he has been quick to absorb and put to good use the fire-hose of technical training from the mentors around him - including his dad! It’s a privilege to have a talented father/son team in the same shop.

Sandra Linton
Accounting
Sandra's passion for numbers can be traced back to her grade 10 Accounting teacher, who said, "Accounting is like a waltz of debits and credits that flow back & forth, back & forth. And when everything balances, it's a beautiful thing". Thank you Mrs. Ongman. Sandra brings over 25 years of accounting and administrative expertise and has contributed to the success of the Newton team since 2011.

Rod is a very skilled individual with a tenacious fervour to understand aircraft systems, avionics, and maintenance procedures and troubleshooting. He has over 25 years experience and has provided M1/M2 maintenance and Structures support for aircraft worldwide including the North and South Poles. His resourcefulness and “Swiss army knife” of talent and experience has paved the way for our ability to provide expert quality of service on the Falcon and Pilatus aircraft.

Avionics Specialist| AME M1, M2
Dallas is our very talented Avionics expert. He is a licensed AME with 'E' rating and has 14 years of installation and troubleshooting experience working with all types of Avionics systems. From autopilots to cabin entertainment systems, pneumatic gyros to glass cockpits, he has been involved with troubleshooting many complicated issues or upgrading to the latest and greatest technologies. With such diverse experience on various Avionics systems he makes an excellent addition to the Newton Aviation team and can assist with all your Avionics needs.

Cameron Brager
Structures Manager | AME S
Cam is a licensed structures AME and has over 20 years experience on a wide range of aircraft in both structural repair and maintenance activities. He is currently pursuing an AME M1, M2 license rating. Cam consistently provides exceptional skill at inspecting and repairing aircraft structural defects and maintenance and is a quick learner at all processes of aircraft maintenance. He is an integral part of the Newton Aviation team and his relentless pursuit of perfection at his work is well regarded.

Brian is a highly experienced M1/M2 aircraft maintenance engineer with over 40 years of aviation work. Brian is fluent in twin/single piston turbines and beyond. Brian brings a class leading level of skill, workmanship and attention to detail to Newton Aviation. With his managerial experience and work ethic comes efficiency, all these things make him an incredible asset to the team here at Newton Aviation.
