Daryn Newton - President/CEO
Daryn is the founder and president of Newton Aviation Services Ltd., bringing over 30 years of expertise as a licensed M1/M2 aircraft maintenance engineer, with a focus on corporate jets and turboprops. Dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, and trustworthy services, Daryn excels in aircraft acquisition, imports, exports, Maintenance Manager duties, Maintenance Schedule Approvals, and tailoring maintenance support to individual operators.

Cory Ciochetti - Director of Maintenance
Cory has been a licensed AME with M1 and M2 ratings for over 30 years and leads the Newton team as the Director of Maintenance. He has a broad range of experience in turboprop, piston, and jet aircraft. He is a strong trouble-shooter and is not afraid to dive into complex problems. His attention to detail and ability to understand many types of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a great asset. He skilfully manages multiple high pressure situations and makes the right call when it comes to safety and airworthiness decisions on a day to day basis.

Brian Gregresh - Production Manager
Brian is a highly experienced M1/M2 aircraft maintenance engineer with over 40 years of aviation work. Brian is fluent in twin/single piston turbines and beyond. Brian brings a class leading level of skill, workmanship and attention to detail to Newton Aviation. With his managerial experience and work ethic comes efficiency, all these things make him an incredible asset to the team here at Newton Aviation.

David Troniak - Quality Assurance Manager
David has over 30 years experience as a licensed AME, operating in a number of different roles, including Director of Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Production Manager. He prides himself on his business aircraft experience from the old school biz jets, to the new digital aircraft, while getting things done correctly in a timely manner.

Jordan Laidlaw - YYC Base Manager, Crew Lead
Jordan is a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME M1/M2) with extensive experience on various premium corporate jets. He also has experience in various pivotal roles including Director of Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Production Manager. His adaptability and deep industry knowledge makes Jordan one of a kind. Jordan prides himself on executing maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all work is completed correctly and within set timelines. His commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction and a broad spectrum of experience in aircraft maintenance make him a valued member of the Newton Aviation team.

Dallas Duchcherer - Avionics Manager, Crew Lead
Dallas is a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with an 'E' rating, specializing in Avionics at Newton Aviation. His expertise encompasses years of installation and troubleshooting experience across a broad range of Avionics systems. Dallas has a proven track record of resolving complex issues and upgrading aircraft with the latest technologies, demonstrating both technical proficiency and innovative thinking. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of various Avionics systems, Dallas is an invaluable leader for the Avionics department, making him a perfect fit for Newton Aviation.

Yvette Gobeil - Customer Service, Parts/Stores Manager, Work Order Controller, Admin support.
Yvette brings over 25 years of experience in account management to Newton Aviation, proving to be a reliable and highly organized professional. Her ability to multitask and prioritize work supports her colleagues and enhances operational efficiency. She excels in negotiating deals with suppliers that satisfy both customer needs and management goals, highlighting her belief in the paramount importance of customer service and satisfaction. Currently, she specializes in sourcing parts, managing inventory, preparing work orders, and assisting with scheduling and estimates.

Ashley Herbold - Customer Service, Technical Records/Quality Control, Admin support.
Ashley is a pivotal team member at Newton Aviation, deftly managing various administrative tasks, offering crucial parts support, work order quality control, technical records keeping, and addressing client inquiries with precision. Her commitment guarantees that every customer receives exceptional service when they encounter her warm and welcoming presence at the front desk.

Cavell Stanley - Crew Lead
Cavell, a dedicated and knowledgeable aviation professional at Newton Aviation. With a solid foundation in aircraft mechanics, Cavell has continuously developed his skills on-aircraft alongside the Newton AME team. His relentless drive for learning has quickly established him as an emerging leader within the industry. Cavell is known for his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to project completion. Cam Brager - Structures Manager, Crew Lead
Cam is a licensed structures AME and has over 25 years experience on a wide range of aircraft in both structural repair and maintenance activities. Cam consistently provides exceptional skill at inspecting and repairing aircraft structural defects and maintenance and is a quick learner at all processes of aircraft maintenance. He is an integral part of the Newton Aviation team and his relentless pursuit of perfection at his work is well regarded.

Sandra Linton - Accountant
Sandra's passion for numbers can be traced back to her grade 10 Accounting teacher, who said, "Accounting is like a waltz of debits and credits that flow back & forth, back & forth. And when everything balances, it's a beautiful thing". Thank you Mrs. Ongman. Sandra brings over 25 years of accounting and administrative expertise and has contributed to the success of the Newton team since the very beginning in 2011.

Chad Newton - Apprentice AME
Chad has been an integral part of Newton Aviation for the past five years, bringing a unique blend of academic background and practical skills to the team. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minor in Small Business and Entrepreneurship, equipping him with a robust foundation. His skills in corporate branding, IT, and marketing have significantly benefited Newton Aviation. Currently, Chad is currently gaining experience toward obtaining his M1 and M2 AME licenses.

Curtis Berube - Crew Lead
Curtis is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M1/M2 at Newton Aviation Services. Curtis has a calm and collected business work ethic and he has been quick to absorb and put to good use the fire-hose of technical training from the mentors around him - including his dad (Mark). Curtis is a natural at understanding and troubleshooting complex systems and forms a pillar of strength to the Newton team.

Mark Berube - Crew Lead
Mark is a highly experienced M1/M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who is exceptionally proficient at adapting to challenging technical problems and has a natural ability to solve complicated electrical faults. His background includes a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, achieving an Engineering Technician qualification, and he brings over 35 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering in all fixed wing disciplines to the Newton Aviation team.

Rod McLeod - Crew Lead, Special Projects, MD-M (Imports/Exports)
Rod is a very skilled individual with a tenacious fervour to understand aircraft systems, avionics, and maintenance procedures and troubleshooting. He has over 30 years experience and holds M1/M2/Structures, FAA A&P licences. He has provided maintenance and Structures support for aircraft worldwide including the North and South Poles. His resourcefulness and “Swiss army knife” of talent and experience has paved the way for our ability to provide expert quality of service on the Falcon, Embraer, Cessna, and Pilatus aircraft. Currently he is in process of gaining MD-M authority to facilitate the importation and exportation of aircraft.

Janeen Wong - Accounting Manager, Corridor system administrator.
Meet Janeen, our payroll and accounting maestro at Newton Aviation since 2023! A proud alumna of the University of Lethbridge, she wields a Bachelor of Business Management with a minor in Computer Systems. Janeen has quickly become an indispensable part of our team, ensuring everything adds up behind the scenes, while ensuring seamless operation of our work order system.
